Yesterday Morning Nate's ear was a little red and he said it was sore. I sent him to school, he was "fine". When he got home he looked like this...

Here is his other ear, what it should look like. |

A few hours later, right before bed.

It was huge! I couldn't stop looking at it. Luckily he was able to swallow Benadryl and when he woke up this morning it look so much better. So far Emma has been eaten by Fire ants and now Nate has a spider bite or sting of some kind. Whats next Texas? Idaho has no bugs we aren't used to this, lol
That's because they froze in Idaho about October and don't have babies until May. In the nice warm south, they live all year, just keep getting bigger, and have babies year-round! You must have a trade off for those warm afternoons!
ReplyDeleteWhat's next? Giant flying roaches! Good luck!
Poor Nate. Give him an extra hug for us!Cortizone might help with the itching and swelling.
Wow! That got huge. Poor guy; so glad the Benadryl helped him. I remember the bugs in Texas were huge. The mosquito and spider bites I got there as a kid always got Huge! (A spider bite on my leg got as big as a softball - diameter wise). Good luck ~ enjoy the gorgeous weather - but watch out for those monster bugs. :)
